J W Benson 9ct Gold Mechanical Wristwatch
We have for sale a classic vintage pre owned mens mechanical wristwatch from the watchmaker J W Benson of London. The company was originally set up by James William Benson and his brother, Samuel Suckley Benson. As well as being watchmakers, they were also importers and retailers of diamonds, gold and silver ware.
A beautiful understated timepiece, with classic lines and elegant proportions. The silver satin dial is in excellent condition and is blemish free with bright gold colour arabic nemerals and hands. Featuring a seperate subsidiary dial for the seconds. The 9ct gold polished case is also in excellent condition with the domed plexi glass being in immaculate condition.
It is fitted with a quality Swiss mechanical movement, that is keeping really good time.
This watch was given as a 40 years of service appreciation reward to John William Bruce Hand in 1965 from United Glass Limited, and has been engraved on the plain poilished case back to show these details.
We have fitted a quality new black padded, fully stitched leather strap with guilt buckle.
The original J W Benson Ltd dark blue presentation box comes with this watch that is in great condition with some vintage Patina.
Will come with 6 months H&H movement warranty.

We take great care to ensure all items are packed safely and securely to ensure that your new purchase arrives in perfect condition. All watches will be fully tested and set to the correct time prior to dispatch.
All orders placed Monday - Friday before 3pm are dispatched the same day. Orders received after 3pm will be dispatched the next working day.
Orders placed Friday (after 3pm), Saturday or Sunday will be dispatched the following Monday (Unless on a Bank Holiday when orders are dispatched the next day, on Tuesday). Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a dispatch confirmation email which will include your tracking reference number. Use this number to track your item right to your doorstep.
All Bespoke wedding ring and jewellery orders are dispatched 3-4 weeks from the order date.
If, for any reason, your order is returned to us (e.g., incorrect address), then Hollins and Hollinshead Ltd will inform you immediately via email or phone call when the item is received. You will be given a choice as to whether the item is sent out again, or a refund is processed. Please note, for items that are undelivered through fault of the customer (e.g., incorrect address), Hollins and Hollinshead Ltd reserve the right to deduct our outwardly shipping fees from the refund total.
