Seiko ASTRON GPS Solar Watch

An astonishing new ASTRON GPS Solar watch from Seiko. The SSH053J1 watch has a round polished and brushed finish stainless steel case with a black dial with blue accents. The dial features silver colour luminous hour markers and hands as well as 3 subsidiary dials and a date window positioned at 4 o'clock.

The Seiko Astron hosts a range of various features including automatic hand position alignment function, date display, function to prevent the GPS signal reception (in-flight mode), Overcharge prevention function, Perpetual calendar, Power reserve display, Time zone adjustment by receiving GPS signals from GPS satellites, automatic time adjustment function, World time function (40 time zones) and much more.

ASTRON GPS Technology By connecting to the GPS network, the new ASTRON adjusts at the touch of a button to your time zone* and, by taking all the energy it needs from light alone, never needs a battery change. Whenever the dial is exposed to bright light, the watch automatically receives GPS signals. When the watch is concealed under a sleeve and the dial cannot receive enough light, the watch stores the time of the previous successful manual time adjustment or time zone adjustment, and automatically starts time adjustment at the same time.

An exclusive Seiko ring antenna placed under the dial ring is suitable for automatic reception as it can easily receive signals regardless of posture. In order to avoid any interference with the operation of electronic devices in an aircraft, in-flight mode is available when boarding a plane. 

In the in-flight mode, the GPS signal reception function will not work. In areas where DST (Daylight Saving Time) applies, the time can be adjusted manually. It is fitted with a black silicone strap and finished with a rose gold colour butterfly buckle. Comes supplied in official Seiko Astron watch packaging.

Personal Service

Once you have selected your item it will be carefully prepared and wrapped. All branded items are supplied with manual, warranty and box. Every care is taken to ensure packaging is correct. We can size watches and rings at your request, prior to dispatch. You can either use the ‘additional comments’ of the check out flow to specify size needed or call / e-mail ahead of your purchase. Watch sizing is free of charge. Ring resizing may incur a small charge. We are also able to supply extra links for watch straps, a charge may apply depending on brand. Each item is individually quality controlled. Gift wrapping is a paid optional extra. If you wish to view the item before purchasing we can arrange a viewing in one of our four high street stores. 

Free UK Delivery

We offer free standard delivery within the UK on orders over £40 and items ordered before 3.30pm will be dispatched the same day, so your item arrives as quickly and safely as possible. You will automatically receive dispatch confirmation and you can track the progress of your parcel with Royal Mail. International delivery starts from just £9.95, please see our delivery page for details. You an also collect in store if this is more convenient.

30 Day Free Return Policy

We of course hope that you are completely satisfied with your item, but if for any reason you decide to return the piece, simply notify us within seven days. Use our free returns service and post your item back to us within 30 days of receipt for a refund or exchange, but please note if the item has been personalised (e.g. Engraving) it is exempt from this policy. Earrings are also non-returnable due to health and safety reasons.
